Family Day Trip

It has been months since we have gotten out of the house for a full day. It felt so good to "see" the world once again. The blue skies, the green trees, and the chirping birds were what we needed! We started the day by packing the car with our lunches, jackets, and masks. By 9am we were out the door headed for Rye, Colorado. Here we saw Bishop Castle. We climbed many stairs, many which were made of stone and some made of metal too. The higher we went, the more wobbly the stairs—yes, it was a little scary, but we ALL were brave. It was fun watching you guys get so excited about all the hidden areas that you could go into. Nothing was off limits. Hand Sculpture Best Kids Ever!
